Integrum Scientific travels to Uganda for Sudan ebolavirus (SUDV) sample collection as part of their Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) award supporting the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC). These samples will enable the development of an international antibody standard which would standardize assessment of vaccine candidates against the virus. This could contribute to the eventual licensure of vaccines against the disease, for which there are currently no authorized vaccines or therapeutics.
